The dependence on things differs from the dependence upon men. The dependence on things will help an individual eliminate the insecurities in life and be able to be productive (Reichborn-Kjennerud et al., 2012). Moreover, the dependence on things could enable individuals not be conform to this world or society, but seek to live life according to dual origins in antiquity and modernity (Oldham &Morris, 2009). To the contrary, the dependence on men further leads to the development of submissive and dependent behaviour’s (Scott, 2012). The dependence on men may affect a person’s intuition. A person who depends on men will seek the approval of men to make any kind of decision in the everyday life situations (Scott, 2012). The dependence on men may create a perception that we are unable to function adequately without the help of others (Scott, 2012).   Example, The dependence on men could create dependency on others or someone to provide human basis necessities.. Even though dependence on things and the dependence on men are equally needed. This may be true. However, the depending on things should take precedence over men.
