Math 221

For this discussion we are to use Crowling’s Rule to determine the child size dosage of a particular medicine. Crowling’s Rule is a formula, which converts an adult dose into a child’s dose using their age. As in all literal equations, this one has more than one variable, in fact it has three variables.  Please see attachment.

For this discussion we are to use Cowling?s Rule to determine the child sized dose of a particular medicine. Cowling?s Rule is a formula, which
converts an adult dose into a child?s dose using the child?s age. As in all literal equations this one has more than one variable, in fact it has three variables.
The formula is d= D(a+1)

I was assign this: adult dose 500mg amoxicillin; 4 year old child 300mg adult, 100mg child Explain what the variables in the formula represent and show all steps in the computations. Incorporate the following five math vocabulary words into your discussion. Use bold font to emphasize the words in your writing (Do not write definitions for the words; use them appropriately in sentences describing your math work.): o Literal equation o Formula o Solve o Substitute o Conditional equation Initial post should be 150250 words in length.
