For this paper, you will be writing on the 3 questions you chose as
most interesting (from the last page of the syllabus) and would like to
cover in this course. You will be discussing why you find those three
questions interesting, then choose one to attempt to give your own
personal philosophical answer to.Include the following sections 4
sections, clearly label when each section begins in your paper (You
may do this simply with a section number or section title):
i) Introduction. State which questions you chose, and rank those three in order of which you find most interesting. State which you will give
your own answer to, and summarize how you will answer and defend
your answer to this question.
ii) Describe in more detail why you find each question interesting, and
perhaps why you ranked them as you did.iii) Pick one of your chosen
questions to give your personal answer to. Explain what you believe is
the correct answer to the chosen question. Make sure that you give
an actual answer to your chosen question; do not simply state
that you don't know, or that there is no possible answer. At
least attempt to formulate your own answer.
iv) Why? Attempt to give philosophical rational arguments in support of
your answer. Philosophical arguments should be universal, accessible
